Hamsini Ravishankar

Hamsini Ravishankar is a Product Manager and UX Researcher at Develop for Good since May 2023, focusing on improving user experience and navigation for the Solutions in Hometown Connections website. Concurrently, Hamsini serves as a Research Assistant in Design Research at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to interventions against online hate speech and testing IoT privacy labels. Previous experience includes a Research Affiliate position at NASA Ames Research Center, developing tools for airport simulations, and roles at JHL Consulting and Cisco thinQbator, where Hamsini conducted research and developed prototypes in various tech domains. Hamsini holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
