Rafael Moraes Gatto

Rafael Moraes Gatto is a seasoned Capital Project Consultant at Independent Project Analysis since March 2013, specializing in assessing project systems and improving capital project performance across various industries, including E&P, mining, and agribusiness, with significant experience evaluating over 70 projects in multiple countries with a focus on risk assessment and execution challenges. Previously, Rafael served as Project Manager and Project Planner at DESA - Dobrevê Energia S.A., managing renewable energy projects, including wind farms and hydroelectric power plants, and implementing risk management methodologies. Early career experiences include internships at Associação MTM do Brasil, focusing on production optimization for Volkswagen, and DaimlerChrysler, contributing to assembly line planning at Mercedes-Benz. Rafael holds an MBA in Project Management from ISAE and additional qualifications in Business Management and Control and Automation Engineering from Estação Business School and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, respectively.
