James Goode

James Goode is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in corporate finance and M&A activities across various industries. Currently serving as Group Chief Financial Officer at PA Media Group since January 2019 and a member of the Board of Trustees at Index on Censorship since January 2021, James has previously held significant leadership roles, including Group Chief Financial Officer and Board Member at Lonrho, where responsibilities included managing comprehensive financial functions and executing mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Lonrho, James held various finance positions at BT, including Finance Director and Vice President of Group Corporate Finance, overseeing substantial revenue-generating operations and managing deal structuring and negotiations. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Logicalis, Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, with a solid educational foundation in Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick and ACA qualification from ICAEW.
