Gayathri Pillai

Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Science

Gayathri Pillai currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since August 2021. Prior to this role, Gayathri Pillai was a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Tsing Hua University from September 2013 to April 2021, where responsibilities included positions as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant, focusing on Radio Frequency MEMS and microsensor systems. Additionally, Gayathri Pillai completed a brief internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, in May 2012, working on a piezoresistive-based MEMS mass sensor, and another internship at BSNL Telecom Factory in May 2011. Gayathri Pillai holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Piezoelectric RF MEMS and a Master of Science in MEMS, both from National Tsing Hua University, along with a Bachelor in Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology. Educational background also includes completion of higher secondary and matriculation at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Vidya Mandir and Little Flower Higher Secondary School, respectively.
