Sauma Suvra Majumdar

Sauma Suvra Majumdar currently serves as a Data Science Intern at Elucidata, where the focus is on the SNP's of the 5' and 3' UTR's of the Cystathionine gamma lyase gene and its regulation of H2S production in ischemia reperfusion conditions under the guidance of Dr. Nitish Mahapatra. Previous roles at Elucidata include a Senior Curator and Data Curation Intern. Additionally, Sauma held the position of General Secretary at Evolvere - NIT Durgapur and completed a Project Intern role at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, as well as a Summer Research Intern position at the Indian Institute of Science, focusing on the relationship between epithelial and mesenchymal properties in metastatic cancer cells. Sauma holds a Btech Mtech dual degree in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, completed in 2023.
