Vamika P

Vamika P is a doctoral student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with extensive experience in research and leadership roles. As Research Affairs Secretary from October 2021 to April 2023, Vamika represented over 4,000 MS and PhD scholars and managed five teams focused on career development and research initiatives. Vamika also served as Student Head of the Career Development Cell Research and led various events, including the Research Scholars Day. In addition to academic endeavors, Vamika holds positions as an artist and brand ambassador for EdTech startups, actively promoting DIY and hands-on learning approaches. As a Data Scientist at Measured since March 2020, Vamika specializes in online advertising effectiveness through various statistical methodologies. Other roles include Head of the International and Alumni Relations Student Council, Science Communicator, and Research Assistant at esteemed institutions. Vamika's academic credentials include a PhD in Data Science from IIT Madras, an MTech from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and a BTech from PSG College of Technology.
