Safeena Husain

Safeena Husain is a prominent leader in the social sector with extensive experience in education and philanthropy. As the Founder and Board Member of Educate Girls since December 2007, Safeena has dedicated efforts to empower girls through education. Currently, Safeena serves on multiple advisory councils, including the Indian School of Development Management for the Centre of Philanthropy for Social Justice and various other organizations such as ILSS and L'oreal Paris. Additional roles include Quality Council Member at Dalberg and Community Leader for the Impact Future Project - Education. Safeena's previous experience includes founding the India Study Abroad Center and advising for the Children's Investment Fund Foundation. Educational qualifications include an Executive Education from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics History from The London School of Economics.
