Nick Pettit

Nick Pettit serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Eskenazi Health, where responsibilities include clinical practice and education for residents and students, as well as research in the intersection of oncology and emergency medicine. Nick Pettit's clinical work emphasizes care for underserved populations in Indianapolis. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Ohio University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, alongside an Emergency Medicine Residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Additionally, experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher in pediatric hematology/oncology at Nationwide Children's Hospital was gained under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Houghton.
