Laura Sauder

Laura Sauder, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in research and development within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Indigo since April 2018, Laura leads a team focused on bioprocessing, fermentation optimization, and technology transfer. Previously, Laura worked as a Research Analyst for the Canadian Water Network, contributing to a significant report on wastewater contaminants. A former lecturer and lab coordinator at the University of Waterloo, Laura has taught various biology courses and received multiple accolades for teaching excellence. Laura's academic background includes a PhD in Microbial Ecology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, complemented by research experience in molecular biology and microbial ecology.
