Afzal Farooqui

Afzal Farooqui is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and facility management with significant experience in the healthcare construction sector. Currently serving as General Manager at The Indus Hospital since April 2019, Afzal is responsible for design, construction, and facility management. Previously, Afzal held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer at Nesma & Partners, overseeing the simultaneous construction of five hospitals in Riyadh, Qaseem, Taif, and Jeddah from April 2014 to March 2019. Afzal's early career includes roles as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Zuhair Fayez Partnership Consultants and Arch Center Architects & Consultants between 2006 and 2015. Afzal holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, earned between 1996 and 1999.
