Ana Herrera

Ana Herrera is an experienced professional with a strong background in public policy, management, and economics. Currently serving as the Director of External Relations, Private Sector & NGOs at the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico (INEGI), Ana has held various significant roles including Director of Public & Government Affairs and Deputy Director of Strategic Projects and Management. Previous experience includes a Deputy Director position at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, Administrative Assistant at the Centre for Mexican Studies-UNAM UK, and multiple consulting roles in ministries focused on finance, energy, and labor. Ana holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, complemented by specialized training in environmental leadership at the University of California, Berkeley.
