Bernhard Seggert

Bernhard Seggert is a seasoned professional in the chemical engineering field with over 38 years of experience. Currently serving as Senior Director of Site Management at INEOS since August 2020, Bernhard oversees the strategic direction of the Cologne site, managing integrated manufacturing across hydrocarbons, plastics, and chemicals. Prior to this role, Bernhard held the position of Director of Projects and Engineering at Olin Corporation, where responsibilities included program management for capital projects globally. Bernhard’s extensive experience at The Dow Chemical Company involved multiple project director roles, managing significant global capital projects and leading major programs, including a €1.5 billion energy assets restructuring initiative. Bernhard began a career in engineering with roles at Bertrams AG and Alusuisse after obtaining a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from TU Dortmund University.
