Humberto M. Guiot

Humberto M. Guiot, MD, FACP, FIDSA, serves as a Professor and Infectious Disease Specialist at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine since July 2006, where additional roles include Interim Dean and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Since August 2019, Humberto holds the title of Fellow at the Infectious Diseases Society of America and has been an Associate Editor for the Puerto Rico Health Sciences Journal since June 2016. Humberto is a member of the International Anal Neoplasia Society and the American College of Physicians, and serves as Chapter Councilor for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Board Certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Humberto has also acted as an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Hospitales HIMA•San Pablo since August 2006. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completion of both an Infectious Disease Fellowship and Internal Medicine Specialist training at the same institution.
