Sara McGinness

Sara McGinness, CEM, currently serves as the Director of Event Venues and Hotels at Informa Tech, a position held since February 2020. Prior to this role, Sara held the title of Director of Event Operations at Informa Markets from March 2019 to February 2020 and served as Senior Operations Manager at UBM Americas from September 2012 to March 2019, where expertise in financial management and budget oversight was demonstrated. Sara's career in event operations began at UBM TechWeb as an Operations Manager, managing event budgets and vendor relationships, and earlier as an Operations Coordinator at CMP Media, coordinating communications for large conference programs. Sara holds a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration and an MA in Counseling & College Student Development from the University of Nevada, Reno.
