Julie Strupp

Julie Strupp is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in construction and urban issues. Currently serving as Senior Editor for Construction Dive at Informa TechTarget since December 2024, Julie has previously held similar senior editorial roles at Industry Dive. As a self-employed writer and editor since January 2021, Julie focuses on infrastructure, low-carbon materials, resilience, and federal regulations. A former digital producer at WAMU 88.5 and managing editor at Greater Greater Washington, Julie has a strong background in inclusive reporting and sustainability. Educational credentials include a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a year of study in Political Science at Université Gaston-Berger. Additional roles include editorial positions at DCist.com and AllAfrica Global Media, as well as gender equity initiatives during a tenure with the Peace Corps.
