Lukasz Stepien

Lukasz Stepien is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in wholesale banking and capital management. Currently serving as the Head of Wholesale Banking Capital Treasury at ING since September 2017, Lukasz oversees capital strategy and management. Previously, Lukasz held various leadership roles at mBank S.A. and Commerzbank AG, contributing to CEE financial institutions' development and strategic direction. Academic involvement includes a position as a Visiting Associate at The London School of Economics, focusing on CEE banking. Lukasz's earlier career includes significant positions in strategic planning and analysis at BRE Bank, consultancy at Frost & Sullivan, and analytical roles with international organizations, complemented by an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master's in International Relations from the University of Warsaw.
