Wenka Booy

Wenka Booy serves as the Global Head of Communications for the Retail Bank at ING since April 2023, leading internal communication and engagement initiatives to align and energize employees globally around the company's purpose and strategy. Previously, Wenka held the position of Head of Marketing and Brand at ING Romania from March 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included localizing global brand positioning and enhancing brand strength to attract new customers. Wenka's extensive experience at ING also includes roles in global brand management, marketing communication, and brand direction. Prior to joining ING, Wenka worked in various marketing and management roles at KPN and completed a management trainee program at ABN AMRO Bank. Wenka's education includes studies at Leiden University and the University of Zurich.
