Amita Patel

Amita Patel, MS MLS (ASCP), currently serves as the Laboratory Operations Manager at INGENIA Therapeutics since October 2024, bringing extensive experience in laboratory management and operations from previous roles at the Institute for Protein Innovation and Foundation Medicine. With a strong background in molecular technology, Amita has played a key role in quality control reforms and completed a significant research study on blood transfusions under the supervision of Dr. Sloan at Boston Children's Hospital. Amita's career spans various positions in clinical laboratories, including Med Tech III and Clinical Student Coordinator, where responsibilities included training future clinical laboratory scientists and enhancing departmental processes. Amita holds a Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Rhode Island, along with additional credentials in Medical Laboratory Sciences from PennWest Edinboro and PV Polytechnic.
