Yong Jun Liu

Yong Jun Liu currently serves as the Executive President of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group and President of Global R&D, a position held since September 2024. Concurrently, Yong Jun Liu is the President of Innovent Biologics, responsible for R&D, strategy, business development, and global operations since October 2020. Prior to these roles, Yong Jun Liu was the President and Global Head of Research at Sanofi from April 2016 to October 2020, overseeing seven therapeutic areas and five drug development platforms. Other significant positions include SVP and CSO at MedImmune, VP and CSO at Baylor Research Institute, Chair of the Department of Immunology at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, Principal Staff Scientist at DNAX Research Institute, and Principal Scientist at Schering-Plough. Yong Jun Liu's educational background includes a PhD in Immunology from the University of Birmingham and an MD in Internal Medicine from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences.
