Data Scientist Intern

As a Data Scientist intern at INOP, you will play a key role in building robust machine learning models driven by clean data. You will be a part of the Data and AI team and work on improving the statistical models, data warehouse, building dashboards and answering complex questions about our data and our business.

Your responsibilities

● You will develop robust data analytics models according to requirements or proactively to support a variety of stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

● You will leverage analytics & machine learning to answer complex questions to our business stakeholders.

● You will identify & resolve technical, performance and data issues with the DWH together with our data scientists

● You will help build reporting platform and create dashboards with actionable insights & provide recommendations to teams

● You will challenge, help improve methodologies and identify process improvement opportunities.

You are...

Studying a BSc. or Master degree related to Data Analytics in a Dutch university Available for a 6 months internship, 40h/week, starting in September 2023 Strong in quantitative & problem solving skills

Experience in data mining Understanding of machine-learning and operations research Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with Pandas is an asset Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) Solutions-oriented, a self-starter and have an eye for detail A quick learner, motivated and enjoy working with new technologies Able to and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic and international team environment Excellent in communicating in English (written and verbal) and are able to effectively communicate technical subject matter to technical & business stakeholders
