Jean-Yves Berthou

Jean-Yves Berthou currently serves as the Director of the Inria Saclay Research Center since February 2019, contributing to the French National Research Institute for Computer Science, which focuses on scientific excellence and technology transfer. Prior to this role, Jean-Yves held the position of Director of Innovation in the Global Shared Services department at EDF from May 2015 to February 2019 and served as the Director of the Digital and Mathematics Department at ANR from September 2011 to April 2015. Earlier experience includes positions at EDF from March 2006 to December 2011, where responsibilities included strategic management of scientific computing and data center infrastructures. Jean-Yves Berthou holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Informatics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, earned between 1990 and 1993.
