Sam Shaffer

Sam Shaffer is a highly skilled research professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Research Associate II at Inscripta, Inc., Sam previously held the same title at Zero Acre Farms, where responsibilities included coordinating sensory testing and analyzing samples for fermentation teams. At Cana Technology, Inc., as Associate Scientist, Sam contributed significantly to beverage validation projects, developing testing workflows and methods while collaborating across multiple teams. Earlier roles include Chemist Associate and Chemistry Intern at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where analytical techniques were applied for high-throughput projects. Sam's academic background in Chemistry was completed at Scripps College, complemented by research experiences at Tel Aviv University and various teaching assistantships.
