Roger A. Fielding

Roger Fielding serves as a Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and a Professor of Nutrition at The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, roles held since October 2007 and October 2005, respectively. Additionally, Roger Fielding has been a Senior Scientist at Tufts University since October 2004 and was the Associate Center Director at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging from October 2017 to October 2022. Prior academic experience includes a tenure-track position at Boston University from September 1993 to September 2004. Educational credentials include a PhD in Human Nutrition Science from Tufts University, an MA in Physical Education Human Bioenergetics from Ball State University, and a BS in Health Science Applied Physiology from Boston University.
