Jordan Stangle

Jordan Stangle is a skilled research assistant and project manager who has supported contracts with agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the U.S. Department of Education (ED), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH).

He is currently the project manager for a CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality study to conduct in-depth statistical analysis and form data-driven conclusions about CMS’s End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program. He also manages a project for OASH that seeks to promote effective use of federal resources and health outcomes in the Pacific and Caribbean Insular Areas and a sustainable healthcare delivery system in the Freely Associated States.

For ED, Jordan provided technical assistance to the Appalachia regional advisory committee as they identified educational needs for the region represented by Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. He gathered input from stakeholders and made recommendations on how Comprehensive Centers can set priorities to address identified needs. Earlier, he analyzed the Clery Act, which requires colleges and universities participating in financial aid programs to disclose on-campus crimes, and created a dataset of on-campus assaults.

Jordan co-authors reports and publications and is a 2017 candidate for a master of public administration degree at George Mason University.
