Colm O'Dushlaine currently serves as the Head of Statistical Genetics at insitro since February 2023. Prior to this role, Colm was the Vice President of Genomics and Data Science at 54gene from January 2021 to March 2023. Colm's extensive experience at Regeneron from November 2014 to January 2021 includes positions as Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Manager within the Statistical Genetics division of the Regeneron Genetics Center. Earlier in the career, Colm worked at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Computational Biologist II / Research Scientist II and as a Post-doctoral Research Affiliate from July 2009 to October 2014, focusing on bioinformatics and population genetics related to next-generation sequencing data. Additional post-doctoral research was conducted at Massachusetts General Hospital and Trinity College Dublin, emphasizing similar areas of expertise. Colm holds a PhD in Genetics, Genomics, and Bioinformatics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a BSc in Biotechnology from Maynooth University.
