Stanley Leung is the Associate Director at insitro. Stanley has over three years of experience in Lab Operations and has been with insitro since June of 2022. Prior to joining insitro, Stanley was with Denali Therapeutics for just under three years where they served as the Senior Manager of Lab Operations. In this role, Stanley was responsible for road-mapping, developing, and evolving a strategic and robust Lab Operations Program. This included partnering with management and stakeholders to provide strategic budgetary analysis for lab capital expenses, designing and coordinating laboratory workflows, supporting the life cycle of lab assets, and maintaining instrument calibrations and servicing laboratory equipment. Stanley also spearheaded the development of an internal equipment preventative maintenance program, created a lab samples cold storage and bench assignments database, and developed and executed a pipette onsite calibration and repair program. In addition to their work in Lab Operations, Stanley also has experience in recruiting, training, and supervising laboratory assistants, preparing schedules, and assigning specific duties. Stanley is also familiar with chemical hygiene, safety, sustainability, and emergency response procedures.

Stanley Leung has a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cellular Biology from San Francisco State University. Stanley also has certification from Roche in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and certification from Cintas in AED/CPR/First-Aid certification. Additionally, they have certification from Cintas OHIO FAS in HEARTSAVER FIRST AID CPR AED, and certification from Minitab Knowledge - Visio Knowledge in Project Management skills set.
