Ian Lauder

Ian Lauder currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of Liquidity Strategy for APAC at Instinet Incorporated, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Ian was the Senior Vice President of Global Client Development at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited from April 2020 to June 2021, and served as Head of Business Development for Turquoise Asia at London Stock Exchange Group from January 2011 to April 2020. Earlier in the career, Ian held the role of Head of Trading Services at PLUS Markets Group plc from May 2008 to January 2011 and was Senior Business Development Manager at BT from 2004 to 2008. Ian's academic background includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic Law and a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Politics from the University of London, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Glasgow.
