Ruth Erickson

Ruth Erickson currently serves as the Barbara Lee Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, where tenure began in October 2012. Previously, Ruth Erickson held various curatorial roles, including Mannion Family Senior Curator and Mannion Family/Associate/Assistant Curator, alongside contributing as a Graduate Research Fellow for the exhibition "Leap Before You Look: Black Mountain College 1933-1957." Ruth Erickson's expertise in art history is supported by a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a BA from Carleton College. In addition, Ruth Erickson was a Fulbright Fellow, conducting dissertation research in France, and curated over two dozen exhibitions at Burlington City Arts from 2004 to 2007.
