Afandi Nor Azmi serves as a Fellow at the Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia, leading the climate, environment, and energy portfolio since January 2022. Previously, Afandi held the position of Senior Analyst, focusing on policy research and strategic studies related to environmental governance and climate resilience. As a Researcher & Liaison Officer with the All-Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia on Sustainable Development Goals from February to December 2021, responsibilities included issue mapping, stakeholder engagement, and localising Sustainable Development Goals. Afandi's earlier experience as an Environmental Consultant at ERE Consulting Group between March 2014 and December 2020 involved sustainability and conservation planning projects. Afandi began a career in environmental analysis as an Environmental Analyst at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and a Documentation Officer. Educational credentials include a Master's in Sustainable Development Management from Sunway University and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from Lincoln University, supplemented by A Levels in Physical Sciences from Taylor's University.
