Inge Basteleurs

Inge Basteleurs is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and governance across various sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Calexin since November 2012, Inge acts as in-house General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for clients, providing high-level legal and compliance advice, including GDPR and anti-bribery regulations. Concurrently, Inge holds the position of Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp since July 2022. Previous roles include Compliance Lead EMEA & APAC at argenx, Project Manager Privacy & DPO at Ontex, and General Counsel at both Terumo and Biocartis. Inge's legal expertise is further supported by a solid academic background, including a Master in Law from KU Leuven and an LLM from UCL.
