Maria João Cardoso

Maria João Cardoso is a seasoned professional in technology transfer and research management, currently serving as the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Manager at Instituto de Telecomunicações since July 2019. Prior to this role, Maria João held the position of Science and Technology Manager at Universidade de Aveiro, where significant contributions were made to the TuRBO-SUDOE project, facilitating technology transfer between R&D centres and companies. Maria João's experience spans various roles, including sales representative positions for laboratory material and real estate, as well as assistant managerial roles in companies specializing in artificial vision systems. With a solid academic foundation, Maria João earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Universidade de Aveiro and a Licenciatura in Biology from Universidade de Coimbra.
