Bert van der Geest

Bert van der Geest serves as the Director for Canada at Instructure since July 2020, overseeing the implementation of the Digitary platform for the MyCreds / MesCertif ARUCC National Network. Previously, Bert held the position of Director at Digitary by Parchment in Canada from April 2019 to January 2024. With extensive experience in the information technology sector, Bert was the Managing Director and Consultant at VANTEC Information Systems Ltd. for three decades, focusing on effectively translating business requirements into IT solutions. Bert also worked as a Lead Consultant at DMR Group from April 1993 to March 1995. Bert's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, completed between 1978 and 1983, and studies at PGSS from 1976 to 1978.
