Govindan Nampoothiri

Govindan Nampoothiri is an accomplished Senior Director and Head of the L-Band Center of Excellence at Intellian Technologies, where leadership has guided the facility in London to become a premier site for satellite terminal development since its inception in April 2018. Nampoothiri has extensive experience in the satellite communications industry, previously serving as Director of R&D Program Management at Inmarsat, where responsibilities included L Band strategy and user terminal development. Prior roles include Engineering Lead and Senior Technical Consultant at Inmarsat, Managing Director at Spacel Technology Limited, and positions at Thales Avionics, ICO Global Communications, and Samsung Electronics, among others. Nampoothiri holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from TKM College of Engineering.
