Frida Arriaga is a highly experienced professional specializing in biodiversity finance and international relations. Currently serving as a Nature Financial Instruments Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank since November 2024, Frida previously held the position of Nature Economy Programme Officer at UNEP-WCMC, where responsibilities included leading a multicultural team on the ENCORE update as part of the SUSTAIN project. Prior roles at UNDP involved designing public policies for biodiversity finance and implementing finance solutions across various sectors. Frida's early career included participation in international forums and communications within the Secretariat of Finance in Mexico. With a Master’s degree in International Politics from The University of Manchester and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Frida combines academic knowledge with extensive practical experience in sustainability and finance.
