Ahmad Askar

Ahmad Askar is a Senior Hydrogeologist at INTERA Incorporated since December 2021, with expertise in groundwater flow and transport modeling, water resources management, and mining risk assessment. Prior to this role, Ahmad served as a Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines, focusing on deep brine leakage from CO2 storage formations, and worked as a Mid-level Hydrogeologist at Dar, where groundwater modeling and aquifer management studies were conducted. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Subsurface Environmental Process and Inversion Techniques from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master's in Water Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mansoura University. Ahmad also has experience in various engineering roles and research positions, contributing to water resource design and groundwater quality evaluation.
