Wouter Robert Berendsen

Wouter Robert Berendsen is an accomplished research and development leader with extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as the Research & Development Team Leader at Interfood Group since March 2017. Previously, Wouter held the position of Technical Development Manager at Interfood Group, where strategic business development for the cheese sector was a key focus. Wouter's earlier roles include Market Development Manager Dairy at AVEBE and R&D Brand Manager for Actimel and Activia at Danone, where responsibilities encompassed product innovation, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration. Wouter holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Master of Science from Wageningen University & Research.
