Ashley Kent

Ashley Kent is an experienced product manager currently working at the Internal Revenue Service since April 2024, focusing on modernizing systems that process business tax information. With a robust background at the IRS spanning over a decade, Ashley has held various roles, including Senior Product Manager for the Joint Analysis Data Environment at the Office of Financial Research and Acting Chief of Digital Products. Additionally, Ashley serves as the Director of District Zouk, managing dance instruction and event organization in Washington, DC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Theatre from Pomona College. Previous experience also includes a role as a Capacity Building Assistant with the United Nations Development Program in Sudan and volunteer work with the Peace Corps in Malawi.
