Michael V.

Michael V. currently serves as an Internal Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service since March 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Telamon Corporation from 2019 until June 2024, managing the Finance function for a nonprofit organization with an annual revenue of $120 million and overseeing a diverse financial staff. Before that, Michael was the Director of Finance for Friends of the North Carolina State Museum of Natural Sciences from 2017 to 2019, where responsibilities included bringing finance functions in-house and establishing necessary policies and procedures. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Foundation for Nursing Excellence from 2008 to 2017, focusing on internal controls and budgeting, and working as an Accountant at the NC Board of Nursing from March 2008 to June 2009. Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Regis University.
