Sandrine Virginie HILAIRE serves as the Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Specialist Counsel and Secretary of the Privacy Law Working Group at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since December 2021, leveraging over 15 years of experience in data privacy within the aviation sector. Prior to IATA, Sandrine held roles as Legal Counsel and Asia Pacific Data Privacy Officer at Allianz Global Investors, where management of compliance in various APAC regions was a key responsibility. Sandrine's career also includes positions as Managing Director at Mei Hua Consultancy Limited and Head of Legal and Compliance at M800 Limited, focusing on legal frameworks and risk management. With a strong academic background, including degrees from prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and University of Strasbourg, Sandrine is currently pursuing additional advanced degrees in artificial intelligence and the law of armed conflict.
