Christina Montgomery

Christina Montgomery is a seasoned executive at IBM, currently serving as Vice President of Government & Regulatory Affairs, leading a global team focused on policy initiatives related to digital trade, workforce readiness for AI, and responsible technology regulation. Montgomery has held several key roles at IBM, including Chief Privacy Officer and Chair of the AI Ethics Board, overseeing global privacy policies and data governance. Previous positions include Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Secretary, where Montgomery managed corporate governance, supported major M&A transactions, and engaged with shareholders. With a robust legal background, Montgomery has played a pivotal role in establishing IBM's cybersecurity strategy and has served in various legal capacities, including as General Counsel for an acquired subsidiary. In addition to IBM, Montgomery contributes to the field through board memberships with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee. Montgomery holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in English from Binghamton University.
