Dr. Hamad Buamim

Dr. Hamad Buamim serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board at DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) since January 2018. With extensive board experience, Dr. Buamim is also a board member of Dubai Islamic Bank, Corinthia Hotels Limited, and National General Insurance Co. (PSC). Holding partnerships at Advanced Media and leadership roles in the International Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Buamim previously held the position of President & CEO at Dubai Chambers. Dr. Buamim is actively engaged in academia as the Regional Chair of the UAE Alumni Network at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Doctorate in Business Administration focused on Strategy and Innovation from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
