Mathieu Pellerin

Mathieu Pellerin is a Sahel Expert at the International Crisis Group since March 2019 and has been a researcher in the Africa program at Ifri - Institut français des relations internationales since May 2010. Previously, Mathieu served as a Special Advisor for the Sahel at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue's Africa Regional Office from June 2015 to January 2019 and was an instructor at Sciences Po Lille from June 2013 to April 2018, focusing on new threats and crisis management in the Sahel. Mathieu held the position of Deputy Editor at Sécurité & Stratégie from November 2009 to September 2017. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in African Studies from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Economic Intelligence from IRIS.
