Farha D. Sufian is a consultant with extensive experience in women's empowerment, currently supporting assessments at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). Previous roles include consulting for ICRISAT and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), as well as serving as a Senior Research Assistant at IFPRI, where econometric analyses and the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index were key responsibilities. Farha has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at BRAC University and a graduate teaching assistant at Simon Fraser University. Additional experience includes co-founding Andeem, a luxury fashion brand, and various roles in financial project management and analysis. Farha holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from North South University.
