Paul Downs

Paul Downs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law, investment, and consultancy. Currently, Paul serves as an author, director, investor, and consultant at Paul Downs since July 2019, and has been a trustee at International House since 2006. Prior to these roles, Paul was a partner in the Corporate Practice at Hogan Lovells in New York, focusing on transactions involving sovereign investors and private equity from March 2016 to June 2019. Paul's past positions include director at the Council for the United States and Italy and president of the American Foreign Law Association. Paul also held partnership roles at Jones Day and Heller Ehrman and earned a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB from Princeton University.
