Blerta Hoxha

Blerta Hoxha serves as Programme Officer for the Western Balkans at International IDEA since August 2021, bringing extensive experience in political advisory roles. Prior to this position, Blerta Hoxha worked as Senior Political Advisor at the Embassy of the United States to Albania from August 2014 to August 2021 and as Political Analyst focusing on Parliament and Elections at the Delegation of the European Union to Albania from December 2013 to August 2014. Blerta Hoxha also held the role of Program Head at the European Movement in Albania between December 2009 and August 2014. Academically, Blerta Hoxha holds an M.A. in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, an M.Phil in International Relations and European Integration from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the same institution.
