Danielle Gustafson is a board member at the International League of Conservation Photographers. Danielle was previously the director of corporate digital strategy at Newell Brands from January 2017 to December 2017.
Gustafson was responsible for employee and public facing digital communications content, strategy and platforms at Newell Brands. Danielle created a digital roadmap with CEO-visibility for content strategy and platform consolidation by year-end 2017 and met individually with Management Committee members to gain consensus on strategy and consolidation approach.
Gustafson onboarded seven new team members - directs, indirects and one peer - all talented writers and content creators. New platforms that were created include SeenIt, a video app being used for the collection and creation of employee generated video content; NewellNow, Newell’s first mobile app that is employee facing; and Newellbrands.com, which was relaunched as Newell story-telling platform in October 2017 with a new content management system - Brightspot - that is also being used for Photo and video asset management.
Danielle Gustafson has a BA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MFA in Photography from the California Institute of the Arts. Danielle has also done an independent study program in Post-Studio Art at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Danielle Gustafson is currently enrolled in an Executive Education program at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they are studying e-Business Strategy.
