Alina Amir

Alina Amir is currently serving as an Officer and previously as an Assistant in HQ Programs at International Medical Corps, focusing on operations in various countries including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and South Sudan since November 2023. Prior to this role, Alina completed a Political Affairs internship with the United Nations in the Security Council Affairs Division from September 2022 to February 2023. Alina's experience also includes a Career Development internship with the International Rescue Committee, a Program Assistant position with Akhuwat's Khwajasira Support Program, and roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Intern. Alina holds a Master's degree in Politics from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
