Abolfazl Rezghi

Abolfazl Rezghi is currently serving as an Economist (EP) at the International Monetary Fund since September 2023. Prior to this role, Abolfazl has held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Assistant Instructor for Introduction to Macroeconomics at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2017 to September 2023. Abolfazl also gained experience as a Summer Intern at the International Monetary Fund from May to August 2022. In terms of education, Abolfazl earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master of Science (MS) in Economics from the same institution. Additionally, Abolfazl completed a Master of Science in Economics, Banking at the University of Tehran and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
