Dennis Francis Murathaty is an experienced cybersecurity leader, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at the International Monetary Fund since November 2022. Previous roles include Director and Chief Security Officer at the World Intellectual Property Organization from 2015 to November 2022, and Information Risk Manager at the International Monetary Fund from 2006 to 2015. Murathaty began a career in information security at The World Bank as a Senior Information Assurance Consultant from 2004 to 2006, and has held positions at Cable & Wireless (now Vodafone), Bangalore Labs, and Comsat-Lockheed Martin. Murathaty holds an Executive MS in Management of IT from the University of Virginia, a Program for Executive Development Diploma from IMD, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai.
