Richard Varghese is an economist currently working at the International Monetary Fund since September 2018. Prior to this role, Richard served as a consultant for the World Bank Group from August 2017 to August 2018. Richard's career includes positions as a senior associate at Oxford Analytica and a research associate at Chatham House. Richard holds a PhD in Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute and has advanced degrees in Public Administration (MPA) from The London School of Economics and Political Science and in Public Policy (MPP) from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Richard completed a bachelor's degree in Economics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
